VIOLENCE

Shadow of person through cloudy glass
Gender-Based Violence, Allyship, and Activism

This strand will explore the intersections of masculinities and gender-based violence, emphasizing the role of men and boys as allies in preventing violence. We will examine the root causes of gender-based violence and discuss effective strategies for engaging men in activism and allyship. Participants will share best practices from various programs and initiatives that work with men to end violence against women and other marginalized groups. Our goal is to develop actionable strategies that promote non-violent, respectful forms of masculinity and contribute to a safer, more equitable society.
